My Story

The first half of my life I lived in Arkansas where my parents were missionaries with FamilyLife. I grew up in a Christian family and have been homeschooled along with my younger brother Joey.

My faith is a very important part of my life and I look for ways to grow closer to the Lord in my journey. I am active in Bible study and serve as a Young Life leader mentoring junior high kids. I am looking forward to participating in the Life Groups at GCU on campus.

Currently, I have selected to major in psychology. I’ve always wanted to have a career that would benefit others. Being able to help others understand their emotions and feelings would be an awesome job! As a fun side note, I enjoy taking personality tests!

Some of my hobbies include, drawing and sketching, creative writing, and exploring new styles of music while still listening to some original favorites. I enjoy rollerblading and volleyball and being in the sun. I love meeting new people and I’m excited to find some future roommates. While living with others, I will do my best to be respectful to preferences and boundaries as possible. My goal is to foster good relationships and have nice conversations and a fun time together. I’m a very friendly and happy-go-lucky person.

Currently, I don’t have any social media but with the growing need to stay in touch with clubs and activities I will explore my options. My parents have tried shielding me from the dangers of the Internet as a kid and I didn’t really have a desire to get too involved in social media as I got older. My website allows me share who I am along with some fun photos and a few of my drawings.

I’m very excited to attend GCU and get to know you better!
